Diverting Items from the Local Landfill

Posted by Sarah Coffey on

Exciting News! I am the first to admit that recycling is definitely not the solution when it comes to reducing our waste.  However, there are a few things that cannot be recycled locally but that can be recycled through a company called Terracycle.  Starting today we are excited to announce that we will be recycling the following items to help keep them out of the landfill and out of our waterways. A few months ago I decided that it would be great to work with a local shop...

Progress!

I am beyond excited to be sharing the first - hopefully of many - article about Waste Conscious Living in Kelowna Now.  Having like minded people to work with who are all interested in achieving the same thing is empowering! I have been using the hashtag #wasteconsciousliving for well over a year.  The entire time I have had the intention of doing more but life is busy!  Love that now the word is being spread and there are some pretty fun projects in the works. I directly copied the article from the Kelowna Now website but I have included the...
